Everhard Industries is a 98-year-old Australian, family-owned business.  We manufacture Pre-cast Concrete and Polymer products in our factories and import and distribute laundry, kitchen, and bathroom products. We also offer commercial solutions in surface water drainage, stormwater drainage, wastewater systems, and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level Civil Engineer to gain experience in projects and make an impact in infrastructure development. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including site development, transportation, water resources, and structural systems
• Prepare drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project requirements
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules
• Support construction activities by providing technical assistance, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers
• Perform calculations and simulations to evaluate structural integrity, hydraulic performance, and other engineering parameters
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering problems and deliver innovative solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in civil engineering
• Participate in the running of the facility in relation to the manufacture of Precast Elements

 Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience in civil engineering or related internships/co-op experiences
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other engineering analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to site development, transportation, water resources, or structural engineering
