Civil Labourer Hydro Demolition experience- BLUESCOPE -COMMENCE MONDAY.

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Civil Labourers to join a leading civil construction company in the Illawarra region. Immediate starts are available for a potential 3-week contract. This role involves demanding but rewarding work, with good rates and penalties for extended hours.

Job Details

• Hours: 10 - 12 hour days, 5 - 6 days a week
• Duration:3 weeks for shutdowns

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Vacuum loading of vessels, drains, and tanks
• High-pressure water blasting
• Operating vac trucks
• Washing down equipment
• Confined space work
• General labouring

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Physically fit and hardworking
• Eager to learn new skills and driven to succeed
• Willing to undertake a variety of tasks

You will need, or be willing to obtain, the following:

• Driver’s License
• White Card
• Confined Space Card (desired)
• High Pressure Water Jetting Licence

Preferred Experience

• Demolition Experience: Essential
• Civil Construction: Minimum 2 years’ experience
• High Pressure Water Jetting Ticket: 
• Previous BlueScope Experience: Advantageous
• Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools relevant to civil labouring

Requirements

• PPE: Hard hat, steelcap gumboots, safety glasses, high-vis (provided if needed)
• Induction: Access to a device for induction completion
