Civil Project Manager

Silverstrand is seeking a Project Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based on our Brisbane projects and employed on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

• Working on a large TMR road project
• Working closely with the Site Supervisor in the organization of labour, plant, machinery, equipment and materials to meet the program
• Creating & implementing the construction program
• Working with the client to resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues
• Reviewing and approving subcontract and supplier invoices and monthly claims
• Ability to manage project expenditure and cash flow
• Ensuring projects are managed on budget, completed on time and delivered to a high quality
• Experience with project programming, cost and quality control, procurement and supplier engagement

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is desirable - alternatively, extensive Project Management experience in the civil industry will be considered
• Minimum 5 years experience on civil infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of structures & drainage
• Delivering self-perform works
• Ability to read drawings and interpret plans
• Programming & Cost Control
• Excellent safety record from previous projects
