Role and Responsibilities:

To supervise all facets of commercial construction works as well as aid and supervision to inhouse civil team.

• Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects commercial infrastructure projects
• Assist in identifying and maintaining RFI’s
• Identifying, maintaining, and communicating notice of delays and extensions of time
• Identifying where changes of scope occur, identifying and managing variations and associated registers
• Communicate, direct and liaise with the design team and consultants
• Keeping the site and amenities clean
• Lead site teams
• Lead and direct sub-contractors
• Implement and supervise OHS policy on site
• Estimating of works
• Scheduling and planning of works
• Provision of required reports to management
• Collection or records
• Ordering of materials
• Planning or works
• Supervise and support the civil team
• Supervise and drive various plant equipment
• Implement and supervise to all OHS policies and procedures and work safe at all times
• Write, Review and Implement Safe Work Method Statements
• Supervise and ensure conformance to all quality compliance including the Australian building code and project specifications, including to the Nat Spec.
• Supervise and ensure completion of work to the set benchmarks and expectations of Fusco Constructions
• Supervise the cleaning and tidying of workplace and machinery
• Conduct yourself in a respectful demeanour to colleagues, clients and suppliers.
• Use initiative on site at all time to be productive and efficient as part of the team
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs including One Drive, MS Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Able to use web based project management software

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Formal Supervisor training

DCSI Working with Children’s clearance

Experience in working on medium sized commercial sites

Preferred Skills:

Degree, Diploma, Certificate in construction related field, Builders License, Supervisors license

Cert IV in WHS

Experience in using Procore Management System

Experience working for government clients

Experience on working on midrise multi storey construction

Modular construction experience

Any machinery/plant licenses such as EWP or Fork Lift ideal
