Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Professional Risks Intermediated Claims Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage professional risk indemnity claims, providing a full legal defence and/or resolution of all claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring an optimum and efficient service to customers, maximising opportunities to ensure claims are processed to meet customer and financial objectives within expected delivery timeframes.

What you'll do:

As a Professional Risks Intermediated Claims Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing professional risk indemnity claims. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing clear instructions on litigated claims, administering claims processes, setting reserves for each claim, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall objectives of the organisation. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Provide clear instructions and guidelines on litigated claims to legal practitioners
Administer claims including cheque processing, auditing and reviews in accordance with the requirements set out in the claims manual
Set reserves for each claim and notification which reflects the most probable financial outcome of the claim, inclusive of claims handling expenses
Deliver exceptional customer service to customers through efficient and customer centric service
Support the achievement of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry by demonstrating behaviours which enable effective teamwork and proactive, efficient Claims management
Ensure that claims are managed within financial authorities and in the best interest of the policyholder


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Professional Risks Intermediated Claims Consultant role brings a wealth of experience in managing professional risk indemnity claims. She has strong negotiation skills, excellent customer service abilities, and is comfortable working within a team environment. Her experience extends to administering claims processes including cheque processing, auditing, and reviews. She understands financial authorities relevant to claim management.

Proven experience in managing professional risk indemnity claims
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve cost-effective outcomes
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer-centric service
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Experience in administering claims processes including cheque processing, auditing and reviews
Understanding of financial authorities relevant to claim management
