Claims Manager - Motor

We have an exciting opportunity within our Claims team for someone with a passion for providing exceptional customer service experience to our valued members to join the team as a Claims Manager.  We’re looking for resilient, empathetic and exceptional communicators with claims handling experience who have the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.

Reporting to the Motor File Management Team Lead, you will be responsible for settling insurance claims, answering customer and service provider questions on a range of claims topics, in particular motor claims, as well as providing advice to customers about the status of their claim and the claim process.  

 Successful candidates will have:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
• Well-developed customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research, gather evidence and analyse information.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• High level of computer literacy, particularly with common office applications.
• Very high level of confidentiality, discretion and judgement.
• Demonstrated reliability with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Demonstrated passion to work in a high achievement, outcome driven team.
• A flexible mindset and be resilient to adapt and thrive in a changing environment.
• Energy and enthusiasm and be an engaged team player.
• Experience in a similar position or within the insurance industry.
