Role Accountabilities :
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in various areas of the hospital including patient rooms, corridors, waiting areas, and restrooms.
  • Ensure all surfaces, equipment, and fixtures are cleaned and sanitized according to established protocols.
  • Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to meet cleaning schedules and respond to special cleaning requests as needed.
Your experience and skills:
  • Experience as a cleaner, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrate general computer skills
Mandatory Qualification/ Professional Registration/ Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
