Our client is a successful professional services firm focusing on small and medium business owners and offering a variety of services from accounting to bookkeeping to finance to insurance and everything in between. Due to continued growth they are adding a Client Manager to their team here in Perth.
  
The Role
  
The Client Manager will be responsible for executing a high standard of tax and compliance work, as well as additional accounting tasks in order to support their team and direct supervisor. As the main point of contact for a majority of clients under their management, this role requires a high standard of work and client service. Technically proficient and up to date with developments in taxation law and relevant accounting standards, systems and processes, the successful candidate will begin to specialise in one or more areas of taxation law. They will readily share their expertise with staff and colleagues and will assist in the induction of new staff and may assist in reviewing the work of peers.
  
Requirements
  
This role requires a minimum of 3 years in public practice as well as CPA/CA and tertiary accounting qualifications. The successful candidate will have experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns, excellent knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and excellent communication skills. The ability to mentor and manage staff as well as review work for accuracy is expected, as is strong external stakeholder management.
