Job Description - Client Service Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Service team at Mercer . This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the Client Services Manager , you will act as a critical link between our clients, financial advisors and other support staff managing a variety of client service tasks to ensure an outstanding client experience while maintaining compliance standards.

We will count on you to:
  • Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries and service needs, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Prepare and process financial planning documents, applications, and client reviews.
  • Support advisors by managing client schedules, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions.
  • Handle compliance requirements, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Attend client meetings as needed to record file notes.
  • Write requests for paraplanning to ensure SOA's are done accurately and reflective of the clients needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior client service team members.
  • Be solutions focused and look at areas to improve efficiency.

What you need to have:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a financial planning, wealth management, or client service role.
  • Proficient in Xplan, Salesforce, and MS Office Suite.
  • Good understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
  • RG146 compliant
