The Company Conveniently located in the Sydney CBD, our client is a well-established and reputable accounting firm, providing business and taxation services to a broad range of clients.
Your new role Reporting to the Office Manager, you are a highly organised and reliable Client Services Administrator with previous public practice experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will be the main point of contact for clients, and responsible for ASIC administration. Some of your duties may include:
Preparing and lodging ASIC documents
Keeping up on ASIC and software changes
ASIC registrations and changes
Setting up discretionary and unit trusts
Attending BGL seminars and user groups
Fee preparation and management
Preparing client correspondence, as well as to the ATO
Building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of clients, colleagues and company stakeholders
Other ad hoc administrative tasks as required
What you need to succeed
1-2 years recent experience in an accounting firm
Previous exposure to ASIC Administration would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of XERO, CAS 360 ASIC and ATO poral or similar systems would be advantageous
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills gained within an internal client-facing environment
Excellent organisation, timekeeping and prioritisation skills
Be able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team
Have strong skills in the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
