Our purpose is `great care every day'.What's on offer?Permanent part-time position, 38 hours per fortnight.Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social WorkerRemuneration package of up to $66,365 p.a., comprising base salary range of $38.70 - $58.67 p.h. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (HP3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).Clinical NurseRemuneration package of up to $66,144 p.a., comprising base salary range of $54.44 - $58.30 p.h. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).Eligible health workers who make the move (interstate or international) to work with us may receive up to $20,000 in incentive payments under the Additional benefits On-call and shift allowances (if applicable) Great professional development opportunities Attractive salary sacrificing options Parental leave and flexible working arrangements Employee assistance and staff wellness programs Supportive and inclusive workplace environment Access to corporate discounts About the roleAs a clinician working in the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (ATODS), you will provide a broad range of base level assessments and interventions to individuals, their families and groups in the context of minimising harm from substance use. This role supports consumers who are opiate dependant (on the Queensland Opioid Dependence Treatment Program - ODTP) and will regularly involve providing detailed assessment or case manager services and therapy to people, from a diverse range of populations and cultures, affected by all types of substances. Provision of outreach service may include other locations within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service at times.Role requirementsAppointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
