About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Emergency Department at Fairfield Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical practice and professional development among nursing staff. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing educational programs, providing hands-on training, and ensuring adherence to the latest evidence-based practices.
You will conduct skills assessments, facilitate continuing education courses, and mentor new and existing nurses to enhance their competencies in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This position requires flexibility to work a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts, to accommodate the diverse learning needs and schedules of the nursing team, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care around the clock..
What You'll be Doing
Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service and enhanced patient outcomes..
