Job Description - Clinical Nurse- Pine Rivers Mental Health Team , Queensland Health

About the role

Permanent full time and part time opportunitie to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
  • Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with professional standards by maintaining current knowledge and participating in relevant policy review.
  • Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon position including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within PRCMHS, MNMH-TPCH
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise consumer/patient centred care and organisational outcomes by undertaking projects and research as required.
