Physiotherapist - what's involved in the role?

This is a permanent Full-time role and looks after clients living in the Illawarra/South Coast Region. You have the option to work from our  Horsley or Nowra office location

As a Physiotherapist (Full-time) you’ll be a valued member of our growing restorative care team, working closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide individualised physiotherapy services to people within the community.

• This is a fulfilling role where you’ll have the autonomy to structure your day and be provided with a broad and varied caseload.
• The role will include client home visits and group activities across a range of settings (in-home rehabilitation or clinic-based).
• Delivering person-centred care in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement consistent with the values of HammondCare and AHPRA.

What do you need to apply?

• A tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and practical experience, or sound knowledge in a Rehabilitation or Aged Care setting. This can include inpatient/outpatient, community settings, or both.
• You’re a strong communicator, and able to plan and manage your time effectively.
• Enjoy working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and safe driving record to travel between client’s homes and HammondCare locations (travel costs reimbursed).
