The Role

As the Club Manager of Urban Climb Blackburn, you'll be the driving force behind our club's success. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure financial stability, and lead a team of dedicated club leaders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering member engagement, building a positive climbing community, and spearheading the development of various venue offerings, from route setting to coaching and memberships. Collaborating closely with national experts, you'll deliver an exceptional climbing experience that reflects our mission to enhance lives through climbing. Responsibilities 

• Team Leadership: Manage, train, and support club leaders, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
• Customer Service: Foster a positive, inclusive community, address member concerns promptly, and enhance engagement.
• Engagement Coordination: Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute events and workshops that drive community engagement.
• Financial Management: Monitor and manage the gym's budget, drive membership growth, and increase revenue streams.
• Collaboration with National Experts: Incorporate industry best practices into climbing programs, leveraging national experts' support to deliver the best climbing experience. 

Required Experience & Qualities

• Proven track record leading customer service teams
• Proven business development experience with a successful track record in sales
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable Experience & Qualities

• Passion for climbing and a strong understanding of climbing gym operations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management in a climbing gym setting.
