Job Description - CNC Draftsperson - Opportunity to Make a Difference

We are on the lookout for an organized CNC Draftsperson to join our multidisciplinary team at Perspective Recruitment in Dandenong South, Melbourne VIC.

Superior in their deliverance, our client is one of Australia's premier manufacturer's of industrial infrastructure projects and screening media for the mining industry. Utilising high end production methods and materials, they have a wide range of brands and distribution throughout Australia.

Based in Dandenong South an exciting opportunity exists for skilled draftsperson, specialising in CNC operation, keen to enhance their career prospects, develop their skills, contribute to the company's growth and join a reputable company. The successful applicants must be able to work Mon- Fri.

Pay and Hours
8:00am - 4:30pm (Mon-Fri) - (negotiable)
$50-$60 an hour

Temp to potential permanent opportunity

Required skills & attributes:

Must have 2 + years experience as a Draftsperson
Experience with AutoCad (2D)
Experience with Inventor (Modelling)
Understanding of CNC machinery (linear punch, turret punches and laser cutters)
CNC Programming software would be advantageous (JetCAM,Bysoft,MBend)
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
Exposure to sheetmetal or similar materials
Must be available for shift work
An awareness of Safe Working Practices
Ability to work within a large team
Awareness of product quality assurance
Able to work unsupervised and follow instructions
Proven work history within a process environment
Forklift & driver's license advantageous
Motivated, hardworking and reliable
Must be available for shift work

Able to use and operate machinery/hand tools.
