Job Description - Commercial Analyst

Commercial Analyst - North Sydney - $125K Package (+bonus)

If you're driven by data, passionate about commercial strategy and ready to influence operational performance across a diverse portfolio, this role will put you right at the heart of a fast-paced hospitality services environment.

Your new role

Partner with senior leaders on strategic, commercial, and financial matters across the B&I portfolio.
Build commercial scenarios to support retention strategies and sector growth.
Analyse key contracts, identify commercial improvements, and support client facing negotiations.
Prepare commercial models and documentation for both internal and client stakeholders.
Work with operational support teams to quantify action plans, track progress, and provide insights that drive margin improvement.
Challenge existing business models and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
Deliver value add analysis of operational and financial KPIs to support decision making.
Review client contracts to ensure alignment with proposals, billing processes, and financial terms.
Support budgeting, forecasting, retention modelling, and broader commercial initiatives.
Analyse contracts and contribute to strategic and operational improvement plans.
Promote continuous improvement and best practice across the commercial function.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial finance
Strong financial modelling and commercial review capability
Degree qualified and/or currently studying towards CA or CPA
Prior analytical and/or accounting experience in a private or public company
Strong technical and analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team
