Commercial Property Trust Accountant - Urgent Position

We are a leading property services firm in Perth, Western Australia with a portfolio of assets across office, industrial, large format retail and retail. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Trust Accountant to join our team. We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated individual to undertake trust accounting duties to work hand in hand with the Property Management team to deliver a seamless and accurate service to owners and tenants.

Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic, experienced and approachable individual who will be required to adapt well into a team environment. With an exceptional customer service focus, the key duties and responsibilities of this busy role will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the company's trust accounting systems, ensuring all company and legislative obligations are accurately delivered at all times.
• Daily, weekly and monthly processing of income and expenditure payments.
• Data entry of all property details and critical lease information into property management software.
• Daily receipting of rental and direct debit payments.
• Reconciliation of trust accounts.
• Administration of property budgets.
• Administration and reconciliation of property expenses. 
• Preparation of EOFY property reconciliations and assistance with auditors.
• Preparation of month end property and financial accounts and reporting.
• Implementation and management of all trust accounting systems, software and procedures.
• Provide creative solutions to improve efficiencies in trust accounting processes.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally require:

• Experience ideal with Cirrus Trust Accounting software.
• CA or CPA qualifications preferable but not essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail. 
• Highly organised to ensure daily, weekly and monthly timelines are met. 
• Experience in a similar property trust accounting role.
