About the role: Commercial Relationship Manager – Land & Touring

Located in our Pitt St office in Sydney, as the Commercial Relationships Manager for Land & Touring, you’ll be responsible for negotiating and managing our commercial agreements with our preferred tour, land and car partners. 

 

What you’ll bring to the role 

As the new Commercial Relationships Manager for Land & Touring you will be able to:

  • Negotiate favorable contractual terms with our preferred partners and establish solid relationships that benefit both parties
  • Undertake regular portfolio reviews to ensure commercial commitments and targets are met
  • Develop mutually agreeable Business Plans with all partners, highlighting key objectives and goals for the term of the agreement
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to build activity plans to drive sales targets.
  • Identify customer behavior and make appropriate recommendations to mitigate any potential risk to performance
  • Recommend commercial partners that add value to our customers and agents.

 

In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have:

  • A proven record in successfully closing profitable commercial agreements and driving sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • An incredible ability to forge and cultivate partnerships
  • An understanding of the retail and wholesale travel market and its various distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and implement creative thinking in all market conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong public speaking skills and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of supplier / procurement contracts and legal processes.
  • Experience in travel or a fast paced or tactical marketing industry.
