An excellent opportunity has arisen in KPMG’s Office of General Counsel (OGC) for a commercial lawyer for a fixed term of 12 months. The OGC deals with a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation. Your Opportunity

Forming part of the Office of General Counsel team this role will play a key role in a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation by

• draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements
• Review new products and service offerings
• Provide legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings
• Liaise closely with the business and external counsel

How are you extraordinary?

You must hold a current practicing certificate, and we value lawyers with:

• Experience negotiating general commercial contracts 
• Exposure to corporate law matter is desurable 
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels
• A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving

You are an admitted lawyer and hold a current practising certificate.
