We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commis Chef, where you will receive training, support, and development from chefs with global experience and a deep passion for local cuisine. All roles in our Mercure Melbourne Doncaster kitchen are collaborative and designed to foster team engagement and creativity. Furthermore, you’ll gain valuable experience across three different kitchens, each offering a unique style and cuisine

• Recognised culinary training and employment experience.
• Commercial cookery certification; Safe Food Handling or Supervisor certificate is preferred.
• A passionate person with raw talent and a drive to grow.
• Openness to feedback and willingness to experiment with new ideas.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Clear and articulate communication skills.
• Flexible availability to work across mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
