ABOUT KTF:
KTF works alongside communities in Papua New Guinea to improve lives, livelihoods and futures -through vital programs in education, health, equality and leadership. For more than 20 years, we've helped keep the friendship with our nearest neighbours, and the spirit of Kokoda, alive.
Our team - 95 percent who are Papua New Guinean - works hand in hand with local communities and partners to understand their needs and strengths, and to deliver programs that build capacity and drive lasting change. Today we work through hubs across the country, delivering programs in six provinces.
KTF is a member of the Australian Council for International Development and holds full accreditation with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's ANCP program - high standards that sit at the core of everything we do. We work with a broad range of government, corporate and philanthropic partners to create real, lasting impact. We’ve got a remarkable story to tell…..
ABOUT THE ROLE:
And great stories don't tell themselves.
The Communications & Fundraising Coordinator sits at the heart of how KTF engages our donors, shares our impact and protects our brand. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Development and working within our Australian Impact team (Fundraising, Communications and MEL), you'll help drive both the income and the storytelling behind our education, health, equality and leadership programs across Papua New Guinea.
This is a broad, hands-on role for someone early in their career and ready to own real work from day one. You'll produce content and run our social media, deliver fundraising appeals and campaigns, coordinate donor recognition and newsletters, support our media activity, and keep our supporter records tidy and our brand consistent - all while learning the full communications and fundraising cycle.
Your work will directly support KTF's growth and long-term sustainability. It's a rare chance to build genuine breadth across communications and fundraising, at an organisation doing meaningful work at an exciting time of expansion. You will become part of our story.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the Head of Partnerships & Development, who leads on fundraising and communications strategy, targeting and brand standards, you'll turn that direction into day-to-day delivery across a broad range of responsibilities:
Communications
Donor engagement and fundraising
Branding, compliance and governance
