Axia Recruitment are proud to be exclusively partnering with the Clifford Craig Foundation. The Clifford Craig Foundation is the key charity supporting residents of North and North West of Tasmania to access the best hospital and healthcare.

We are looking for an innovative Communications & Fundraising Specialist with a strong knowledge of marketing principles. 

About the role:
Reporting to the CEO, this will be a vital role tasked with managing communications, fundraising campaigns and initiatives - all aimed at building the profile of the Clifford Craig Foundation within the community.

In this role, you will create, implement and evaluate integrated communications strategies across various platforms including video, social media, website and EDM’s.

You will also be responsible for the development and execution of a detailed fundraiser journey, ensuring our community fundraising efforts are strategic and effective in generating revenue.

Your ability to be a team player, build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders will be essential in achieving our goals.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Development of internal and external communications to highlight the work of the Clifford Craig Foundation.
  • Assist to further develop a detailed Communications and Fundraising Strategy focused on increasing revenue and long-term growth success.
  • Delivery of annual appeals and fundraising activities.
  • Coordinate the design and production of marketing collateral for fundraising, events and research initiatives.
  • Preparation and execution of digital and social media content, including website management and monthly EDMs.
  • Website management and video production.
  • Monitoring and evaluating campaign performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Oversee the development of copy and design for creative collateral and promotional materials.
  • Coordination of media engagement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Events Coordinator to help organise, promote and run Clifford Craig events.
  • Work with Tasmanian Health Department staff and communications team to help positively promote Northern Hospitals.

Your Qualifications and/or Experience Include:

  • Tertiary degree in Marketing, Public Relations or similar discipline.
  • Experience in Communications, Marketing, Fundraising or similar.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Experience in graphic design, video production, website and social media management.
  • Experience in database/fundraising management systems.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Analytical skills to assess and report on activities undertaken.
  • Strong financial understanding and management. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. 
  • Be a team player.
  • Ability to travel and work outside normal business hours as required.
  • Have a sense of humour
