Community Access Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate community access programs, services, activities and experiences
• Proactively network, attend and organise events to grow the program
• Lead and manage the Community Access team, providing guidance and support to staff
• Collaborate with clients, families, and external stakeholders to assess needs and identify opportunities for community participation
• Ensure programs are person-centered and tailored to meet the unique goals of each participant
• Track program engagement data while adhering to policies and procedures

• Proven experience with CAS disability support
• Certification in Community Services, Disability Support, or a related field (Desired)
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies that promote community engagement and inclusion
• Knowledge of the NDIS framework and community resources available to individuals with disabilities
• Current first aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends may be required
