Job Description - Community Access Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Community orientated Support Worker to work primarily in the Bundaberg North area.

Schedule: 2 shifts a week at 6 hours each, must be flexible with days. Due to expansion, hours can increase over time.

Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to create engaging support experiences
    • Engage clients in meaningful activities that foster social connections and skill development
    • Ensure a safe environment for clients
    • Promote independence and empower clients to make choices
    • Document client progress and report any concerns to the relevant team members
  • Experience in supporting individuals with Neurodivergence desired
  • Certificate III in Individual Disability Support or relevant qualification preferred
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
