Pay Rate: Up to $39/h + super (casual)
Assignment: Temporary, Full-time, 38hrs/week, until Jan 2025 with potential for extension

Community Development Support Officers for a role with their Local Government client.

About the Role
As a Community Development Support Officer, you will contribute to the planning, execution, and assessment of various community projects, collaborating closely with local residents and organizations. This position provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and cultivate enduring partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify community needs and assist in creating initiatives to meet these needs.
- Engage with residents and organizations to utilize strengths, resources, and common goals.
- Plan, consult on, implement, and evaluate a range of community development projects.
- Develop marketing and social media strategies to promote community development efforts.
- Stay updated on social and community trends, and analyze data for reporting.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in network groups to enhance cooperation and promote initiatives.
- Oversee project budgets and assist in organizing the client's involvement in community events.

About You- Proven experience in community development and applying strengths-based approaches.
- Strong project management skills with the capability to plan, implement, and evaluate initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for developing effective partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands effectively.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic communication.
- Must hold a current "C" class driver's licence and a current Working with Children Suitability (Blue) Card, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
