Children’s Hospital Foundation funds cutting-edge equipment, vital research and on the ground support for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions, throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales. We identify and action gaps in funding and support right across the kids’ health landscape – the places left lacking but no less deserving.

The role


The Community Fundraising Coordinator is key for driving the growth, performance, and supporter experience of the our community fundraising program. This role leads the coordination and delivery of campaigns, builds strong and lasting relationships with fundraisers, and implements initiatives that attract new participants and maximise fundraising potential.


 


Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Coordinator takes a data-driven and supporter-centric approach to grow participation, increase campaign income, and strengthen the organisation’s position as a leader in community fundraising.


 


This role has the flexibility to be between 0.8 FTE to full-time and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

  • You bring experience in community or peer-to-peer fundraising, event management, or supporter engagement.

  • You’re a natural relationship builder, confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders

  • You have excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • You’re proactive, adaptable and take initiative to get things done

  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal

  • You enjoy working as part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture

  • You have a data-driven mindset, with proficiency in reporting and campaign analysis

  • You’re a creative thinker with a passion for staying up to date with industry trends



Key criteria


To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:



  • Tertiary or vocational qualification in role related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in fundraising or related role.

  • Proven experience in community or peer-to-peer fundraising, event management, or supporter engagement.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver against participation and income targets.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.


Desirable



  • Experience using fundraising and marketing platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Funraisin, GoFundraise, Grassrootz).

  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practice in Australia.
