About the Role

We provide around-the-clock care, so we need nursing visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or even overnight; to meet our client's needs.

While weekday work is always available, we are particualrly interested in candidates who are available and commited to regularly working weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
• Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly .
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Conduct Nursing Assessments (e.g. wound management, continenance products)

Skills & Experience

Community nursing experience would be highly desireable.  

Depending on the specific needs of your clients, you will be required to apply your knowledge, clinical judgement and/ or practical experience in a variety of areas including for example:

• Catheter Care (e.g. IDC, SPC)
• Complex Wound Care and Management
• Bowel Care and/ or Continence Management
• Medication Management
• Diabetes Management
• Spinal Care Management
• Care Plan Management

Mandatory Requirements

• AHPRA Registration (current)
• CPR & First Aid Certification (current)
• Your own vehicle & current drivers license (no restrictions)
• National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
• NDIS Worker Screening Approval (QLD 'Yellow Card')
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
• Working with Children Check (QLD ‘Blue Card’)
