Aboutthe role

We arecurrently seeking an experienced lawyer to join our growingConstruction team on a full time permanent basis.

Our practicewill provide the chance to do a mixture of contentious andnon-contentious construction law work. Strong skills and experiencein both areas of practice are preferred.

The Partnerin charge of this practice, has more than 20 years' experience advising on contentious andnon-contentious construction law matters and is recognised as oneof Australia's leading lawyers in Construction/Infrastructure Law(2019 - 2023 Best Lawyers). She has extensiveexperience in contract drafting and negotiation as well aslitigation and alternative dispute resolution in the projectmanagement, construction, engineering and infrastructure projectsectors.

Sandra wasthe winner of Lawyers Weekly, Partner of the Year Awards forConstruction and Infrastructure and finalist in 2017, 2019,2020 and 2023.

Whatdoes the role involve?

Drafting and negotiating construction documentation

Providing advice and managing construction disputes including adjudications

Running litigation matters primarily in the supreme court and arbitrations, across various jurisdictions in Australia

Participate in business development and client relationship activities

Contribute to the firm's learning and development program in area of specialty

Contribute knowledge and learning resources, including precedents

Manage finances including assisting with estimates and preparation of invoices; collection of fees as directed.
