Role Overview:

Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join their construction litigation team in Brisbane. This role involves managing various litigation cases, specifically focusing on disputes in the Queensland building industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage litigation cases in Queensland Courts and Tribunals.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior solicitors, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Work closely with Partners on strategic litigation planning and execution.
• Develop junior team members to ensure high-quality legal service.
• Prepare for trials and represent clients in court with exceptional presentation and argumentation skills.
• Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's client base and strengthen client relationships.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least five years of post-qualification experience in construction law litigation.
• Proven success in managing complex litigation cases.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Professionalism and composure in handling complex legal challenges.
