Role Overview:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join their construction litigation team in Brisbane. This role involves managing various litigation cases, specifically focusing on disputes in the Queensland building industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage litigation cases in Queensland Courts and Tribunals.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior solicitors, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
- Work closely with Partners on strategic litigation planning and execution.
- Develop junior team members to ensure high-quality legal service.
- Prepare for trials and represent clients in court with exceptional presentation and argumentation skills.
- Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's client base and strengthen client relationships.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least five years of post-qualification experience in construction law litigation.
- Proven success in managing complex litigation cases.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
- Professionalism and composure in handling complex legal challenges.
