Project Manager | Services Manager

to join our team based in Albury.The successful applicant will work closely with the Construction Manager to identify, manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely, safe and efficient manner within project budget.In addition to working in a multidisciplinary, high performing team, you will bring strong experience in a range of delivery methods and contract forms, including Construct Only and D&C under the Australian Standard and GC21 Ed2 contracts, and deliver accurate commercial reporting for each project you take responsibility for.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster relationships with clients to develop new tender opportunitiesAnalyse project documentation and develop construction methods, materials and quality standardsDevelop and report on project programsAdminister Head Contracts and SubcontractsControl various projects from tender stage through to completionImplement quality, environmental and safety plans across projects, ensuring compliance with project documentation and HSEQ regulationsExecute projects in a cost and time effective mannerAssist the Tender Department in bidding for new workReview tender documentation as it relates to services components of the works to ensure accurate tender pricing and eliminate risksOversee services installations on construction projects to ensure compliance with contract requirementsAssist in resolution of services related issues as they arise, which may include non-conformances, specification issues or variation disputesOversee letting of services trades to ensure the entire scope is captured within each subcontract agreementLiaise with services supply authorities for the provision of services to construction sitesTo complement recent construction related experience, the ideal candidate will bring:Experience managing projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Defence, Health & Education sectorsA strong construction services based backgroundA sound knowledge of interpreting construction documentationA solid understanding of contractsAn ability to organise and prioritise work whilst maintaining a high attention to detailExcellent communication and leadership skillsAn ability to meet deadlines and remain focused under pressureAn ability to offer constructive solutions and improvementsIn return, Joss will offer the successful candidate ongoing professional development, and a commitment to a long term career within our successful, trusted business.At Joss, we embrace the benefits of employing hardworking people from a range of backgrounds, so we encourage applications that contribute to our diverse workplace.
