About the Role

As a Managing Principal you will share accountability for the day to day running of the business, the development of our people and the delivery of our strategy. Within this you are responsible for the delivery of the product lines, projects and people you lead. You will be accountable for overall growth, whilst responsible for your own portfolio of current and new clients.

This role can be based out of either our Sydney or Melbourne office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead teams engaged in business improvement projects, utilising Argon & Co methodologies, creative thinking, and sound business practices
  • Play an active role in sales and networking by identifying and communicating opportunities for repeat business and for supporting the development of new prospects
  • Become highly familiar with all Argon & Co materials and work closely with clients to identify opportunities for improvements, additions, corrections, or clarifications
  • Drive client engagement by visiting client sites on a regular basis, providing hands-on support, with allocated training and development time.
  • Help position our business on global scale as the preferred partner for leaders seeking operational excellence
  • Take a leading role in developing and coaching team members.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Ideally 10+ years of consulting experience and/or industry experience
  • A strong background in manufacturing and operations, including prior experience selling and delivering supply chain consultancy work at a senior level and/or managing supply chain operations
  • Significant experience in at least one of the following areas: manufacturing, maintenance and reliability, engineering or operational excellence
  • Commercial and financial acumen and ability to understand how P&L drivers impact and translates into day to day decisions
  • Ability to lead end to end supply chain transformations
  • Deep expertise and a wide network of industry contacts within a specific sectors
  • Effective at leading, managing and coaching people
  • High professional standards including quality, integrity and client centricity.

This role requires a willing to travel (largely within Australia).
