Job Description - Consulting & Generalist HR - Merivale

The Role

Merivale is looking for a passionate People Experience Business Partner to join our team. 

Reporting into the Senior People Experience Partner, you will be responsible for partnering directly with Business Leaders, to drive people initiatives across a venue portfolio.

In your role, you will have oversight of all things people operations, touching on all aspects of the employee life cycle. This is an exciting time to join Merivale as our business expands, you will have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team driving key people projects across your portfolio.

Key attributes;

  • HR generalist experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical expertise, coaching and advice in ER/IR, Immigration, and Award related matters
  • Ability to drive impact and add value through continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and trusted relationships
  • You thrive in a commercially focused environment and enjoy directly contributing to business success by driving people initiatives.
  • Your contribution will be ensuring people managers have the right tools and frameworks to lead and inspire their teams to create the best guest and employee experience in Merivale venues every day.
  • Your success will come from quickly building a true understanding of the business, creating strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders, working collaboratively with the wider People Experience team and the ability to balance value-add activities whilst having a solid grasp of compliance and day-to-day operational activities.
  • Ideally, you will have working knowledge of the Hospitality Industry award and previous operational or HR experience in Hospitality or Retail
