Over recent years, the organisation has successfully diversified through the development of The Mix Shop which is an e-commerce marketplace for cookbooks, Thermomix accessories and premium kitchenware. The next step in our vision to become ‘The most loved premium kitchen marketplace’ was to launch the Kobold cordless vacuum cleaner into Australia. Kobold is a sister brand to Thermomix – manufactured by the same German owner, Vorwerk. 

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing team in Perth for a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will report to the Manager of Content and will be responsible for leading Thermomix® email and social media implementation. 

This includes the development of email and social media content plans, and the development, scheduling and posting of organic social media and email content. This role is also responsible for reporting on the performance of email and social channels, making recommendations for optimisation, and providing timely insights to guide broader business decisions.

Some of the key responsibilities would include:

• Leading development of email and social media content plans
• Leading the development of email and social media content
• Support in the coordination, development and implementation of video and live content
• Writing blog content to support the eDM strategy, as required
• Assisting with social media monitoring and community engagement across current brand partnerships, influencers and affiliates
• Assist in the management of social shops
• Lead the analysis and reporting on eDM and social channels, making recommendations for optimisation and identifying broader learnings to guide business decisions

Experience and attributes:

• Qualifications in Marketing or Communications preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience in a social media, content or email marketing role
• Understanding of social media algorithms and content marketing best practices
• Experience using Adobe photoshop 
• Excellent written communication skills with a knack for crafting engaging copy
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience creating and editing video content is a bonus
