Job Description - Continuous Improvement Manager

  • The Role


    This is an exciting opportunity to support Bega Group's Bentley site in developing a lean manufacturing culture. The role involves coaching at all site levels, providing guidance through Lean processes, and leading the BEGA Excellence operating system. Additionally, the position plays a key role in designing and delivering site cost/value creation and improvement projects.

    Note - We welcome applications from candidates residing in other states. If a candidate from out of state is successful, we will offer relocation assistance.

    Responsibilities

    • Development, syndication & stewardship of Bega Excellence operating system.

    • Accelerates the implementation of core best practices and supports internal capability. Governs the site capability plan.

    • Drives and supports a common approach to financial and operational performance reporting, driving optimal outcomes.

    • Leads optimisation projects that relate to business intelligence reporting and internal processes.

    • Enhance and standardise waste management and reporting process, capability, and systems.

    About you

    • Experience in Best Practices and/or continuous improvement in an FMCG environment

    • Sound knowledge of LEAN manufacturing or Manufacturing Excellence (Six Sigma belt advantageous)

    • Strong financial acumen

    • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members, and engage with a variety of stakeholders

    • Capable of managing change and bringing others along on the journey
