AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes\n\nRELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available\n\nCLEARANCE TYPE: AU- Secret (NV1)\n\nTRAVEL: No\n\n## Description\n\nThe Contract Manager for the KC30A provides key commercial and contractual leadership in support of the Program Manager, ensuring effective management and oversight of all Program Contract requirements and the delivery of Sustainment / Through Life Support services to the Commonwealth of Australia. \nAs a senior member of the Program Leadership Team, the Contract Manager plays a critical role in driving compliant, value-for-money outcomes across the Program. \n \nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Provide sound, risk-balanced commercial and contractual advice to support Program outcomes\n * Propose, negotiate and respond to Contract Change Proposals, including contract drafting\n * Prepare and deliver S\u0026Qs in consultation with relevant functional teams\n * Prepare, submit and manage all contractual deliverables and notifications\n * Support and contribute to contract reviews (e.g. Award Term Reviews, Periodic Cost Reviews)\n * Oversee delivery of TLS services to ensure scope remains within contracted limits\n * Lead and support the resolution of contractual issues, disputes, claims and performance relief where applicable \n \n\n\n\n\nWhat we Offer:\n\n * 18 weeks paid parental leave\n * Flexible Working Options including - Hybrid Working, 9-day Fortnights, Volunteer leave, Varying start and Finish times to suit your family needs.\n * 2 Weeks Paid Reservist leave\n * Health, Wellbeing and Generous Employee discount programs\n * Additional purchased annual and salary packaging option\n * Ongoing career progression opportunities- leadership development, education support, ongoing career growth through internal movement\n\n\n\nAbout You: \n\nTo be successful in this role, you will need: \n\n\n * Degree or Diploma in Business, Contract Law, or equivalent relevant experience\n * Demonstrated experience in contract management using ASDEFCON templates\n * Proven capability in drafting S\u0026Qs and Contract Change Proposals\n * Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, assess and manage contractual risk\n * Highly developed negotiation skills with a focus on win-win outcomes\n * Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills\n * Experience operating as a leader within complex Programs and senior leadership environments\n\n\n\nAs a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy police checks and employment screening verification\n
