What Will You Be Doing?Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing contract administration duties for the delivery of major contracts.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, and project team members.
- Administering contractual correspondence, notices, claims, etc.
- Assisting in ensuring contractors comply with contract requirements and providing advice.
- Supporting the project team with commercial assistance.
- Administering the contract aspects of projects to support timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to meet commercial objectives.
- Maintaining and updating internal contract documents and the contract register.
- Handling contract administration including monthly progress claims, variations, EOTs, and other contractual matters.
- Keeping internal and external stakeholders updated on contract status.
- Assisting the commercial team in managing and mitigating contractual risks.
- Implementing and managing contract administration plans, systems, and procedures.
- Continuously improving contract administration and management processes.
- Displaying a positive safety culture at all times.
What Do You Need?- Appropriate qualifications with a desire to achieve relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of contract principles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
- A sound understanding of infrastructure project delivery workforce requirements.
- Strong numeracy and financial skills.
- Sound financial and commercial knowledge and experience.
- A team player mindset.
- Willingness to travel regularly to regional offices and project site locations.
