Job Title: Management Consultant – ICT Contract Evaluation & Commercial Advisor
Position Overview:
Client seeks a strategic and commercially astute Management Consultant to evaluate existing ICT contracts and advise on future commercial management strategies. This role supports Department alignment with the existing and new frameworks, ensuring value -for -money, compliance, and strategic ICT investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Evaluation
• Review and assess current ICT contracts for performance, compliance, and strategic alignment.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for contract optimization or renegotiation.
• Evaluate supplier performance against KPIs and service level agreements.
Commercial Advisory
• Provide expert advice on procurement models, contract structures (Core& and MICTA/ICTA), and commercial terms.
• Support the development of contract management plans and governance frameworks.
• Advise on beneficial and non -beneficial contract variations in line with Department Procurement Frameworks.
Strategic Engagement
• Act as a liaison between ICT and business units to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across Departments to align ICT services with business objectives.
• Promote innovation and best practices in ICT procurement and contract management.
Deliverables:
• Comprehensive evaluation report of existing ICT contracts.
• Strategic recommendations for future commercial management.
• Updated contract management framework aligned with Department standards.
• Procurement strategy and documentation for upcoming ICT engagements.
• Stakeholder engagement and consultation reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, ICT, or Public Administration.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in ICT contract management, procurement, or commercial advisory.
• Strong understanding of Government ICT Purchasing Frameworks, CPR’s and PGPA Act requirements.
• Experience with Core& and MICTA/ICTA, contracting models.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver strategic outcomes.
Desirable Skills:
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement and governance.
• Ability to lead cross -functional teams and drive change.
• Knowledge of emerging ICT trends and their commercial implications.
