About the Opportunity
Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Full Time Control Room to provide excellent customer service and emergency response to Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne's South East.
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Monitoring Surveillance Equipment: Operating and monitoring CCTV cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems to detect any suspicious activities or security breaches.
Patrol and Observation: Conducting regular patrols of the premises to check for any signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond promptly to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches. This may involve coordinating with emergency services and directing responses.
Access Control: Monitoring and controlling access to the facility, including checking credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the premises.
Incident Reporting: Documenting any incidents, suspicious activities, or breaches of security protocols in detailed reports. This includes maintaining accurate logs of activities and incidents.
Communication: Maintaining communication with other security personnel, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders via radio, telephone, or other communication devices to ensure coordinated responses and updates.
Security Procedures: Enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols established by the organization to protect personnel, assets, and information.
Risk Assessment: Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommending improvements or corrective measures.
Training and Awareness: Participating in or conducting training sessions for staff on security procedures, emergency response protocols, and the use of security equipment.
Customer Service: Providing assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors regarding security procedures, directions, or general inquiries.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring that all security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and communication devices, are in good working condition. Reporting any issues for prompt repair or replacement.
Adherence to Regulations: Following all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to security and privacy.
