About the role:

MSS Security is seeking a Control Room Supervisor to work at our corporate site in Melbourne CBD on a day shift basis. In this fast-paced role, you will monitor surveillance systems, manage incident responses, coordinate communication between security personnel and emergency services, oversee access control and visitor management, respond to emergencies, and handle daily phone inquiries.
 

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisor experience in a security control room setting, strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This is a six month fixed-term position with the possibility of extension, working Monday to Friday. 

Skills and experience:

• Previous supervisory experience in a control room environment required

• Proven experience managing teams with strong leadership and team coordination skills

• Strong understanding of alarm monitoring systems and incident response processes

• Excellent attention to detail, particularly in reporting and auditing

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment

• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Requirements:

• Full Australian Working Rights

• Victorian Security License (Control Room endorsement required)

• Drivers License

• Cert III in Security Operations (highly desirable)

• Prior supervisor control room experience required

• Availability to work day shifts
