Catering is a key component of the service we provide to our aged care residents at our Gertrude Abbott & Sister Anne Court Residential Aged care homes centrally located in Surry Hills.

You will report to the Chef Manager on site and this role includes food preparation, overseeing effective meal service to our aged care residents, as well as providing best practice service in kitchen cleanliness and documentation.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential)
• Previous experience in managing a kitchen and kitchen staff
• Previous experience in an Aged Care environment, highly desirable
• Knowledge of Aged Care catering policies & procedures and HACCP principles
• Demonstrated Workplace Health and Safety knowledge
• Fully COVID vaccinated
• NDIS check or willing to obtain
