We are looking for an experienced Core Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in our brand-new facility at our Perth Warehouse. At Cummins we specialise in heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway, and power generation products.
This role is available on either a part time or full-time basis and offers flexible, family friendly working hours.
*In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:*
Description
Pick and pack core
Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods dispatch
Using hand powered trolleys and cranes 80% of the time
Using forklifts 20% of time
Receipting of inbound core
Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods receipt
Using hand powered trolleys and cranes 80% of the time
Using forklifts 20% of time
Management and storage of core on site
Identifying inbound core to be scrapped
Other tasks
Participate in training and safety meetings
General cleaning activity – 30 mins a day
Daily inventory management tasks
Co-ordination of core shipments for export and paperwork creation to support
*To be successful in this role, you will need the following:*
A current High Risk Forklift licence (preferable but not essential)
WA driver’s licence
The flexibility to work reasonable overtime as required
Previous warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicants
Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial
Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quickly
