Drive investor engagement and corporate connections for a leading investment firm
Boutique's client, a leading capital markets and investment group renowned for delivering unparalleled insights, liquidity, and capital to global investors, is searching for a Corporate Access Manager to join their Sydney team. This critical role is designed for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in corporate access and event management within the investment banking sector. You will play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining relationships with top Australian corporations, primarily at the Investor Relations (IR) level, and facilitating bespoke and group events to drive investor engagement.
What you’ll do: - Act as the primary point person for Corporate Access in Australia, managing both internal and external relationships.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with leading Australian corporations at the IR and senior management/C-suite levels.
- Collaborate closely with research analysts to initiate and manage Corporate Access events, including Access Days, Thematic Tours, and Non-Deal Roadshows.
- Organise bespoke investor trips and ensure the successful invitation and participation of Australian corporations in relevant conferences and Access Days.
- Work in synergy with the regional Corporate Access team, Research, Sales desks, and other divisions to coordinate scalable events and meetings.
- Oversee the scheduling, support, and participation in corporate pitch meetings and annual corporate pitching trips.
- Ensure adherence to best practice processes for budget approvals, legal compliance, event logging, and cost allocation for smooth execution and reporting.
- Coordinate closely with the other Corporate Access teams for events.
The experience and expertise you’ll bring: - Minimum of 4 years of corporate access or events experience within the investment banking industry.
- Demonstrated strong execution skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Highly client-focused and results-driven, with an ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder engagement.
