Purpose of the Position: The Corporate Account Sales Manager (CAM) is responsible for driving profitable growth by developing existing customer relationships and acquiring new business contracts. This role focuses on building effective relationships with high-opportunity accounts to understand their needs and drive incremental sales. The CAM will also identify and support growth opportunities in conjunction with the wider sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Develop relationships within target accounts to access key decision-makers and establish partnerships, enhancing the company's supply status.
- Consultative Selling: Frame procurement challenges and demonstrate the long-term value of a partnership approach.
- Customer Meetings: Facilitate business meetings to align customer strategy, highlight business needs, and create comprehensive contracts.
- Reporting: Provide monthly reports on targets, key performance metrics, customer activity, market forces, and competition.
- Networking: Develop a network of internal and external business partners, fostering teamwork in a best-practice environment.
- Product Knowledge: Gain knowledge of the company's product ranges, technologies, sales practices, and value-added services.
Products: You are not expected to have experience in these areas; training and development will be provided.
- Industrial & Automation: Connectors, sensors, emergency stop buttons.
- PPE and Workwear: Safety equipment.
- Tools & Instruments: Multimeters, tool kits, thermal cameras.
- Electrical Components: Fans, enclosures, cables, beacons.
- Network Solutions: Cable testers, sensors, interconnect solutions.
