Kenbury is currently working with a leading Australian financial services and corporate advisory platform seeking to appoint an Analyst to its Sydney team.
This is a broad corporate advisory role offering exposure across M&A, IPOs, secondary capital raisings, private capital, structured debt and hybrid capital transactions for listed and unlisted companies.
Working alongside experienced senior bankers, the successful candidate will contribute to financial analysis, modelling, transaction execution, client presentations and origination initiatives. The role offers genuine generalist exposure across both M&A and capital markets within a collaborative, high-quality advisory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
Preparing financial and operational models, including three-way models and DCF valuations
Undertaking comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Assisting with transaction timetables, due diligence and data-room management
Preparing information memorandums, management presentations and other transaction materials
Developing client pitches, presentations and marketing materials
Conducting industry research, market analysis and asset screening
Supporting senior bankers in identifying and developing origination opportunities
Attending client meetings and progressively developing industry and client relationships
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline
Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate advisory, investment banking, ECM, M&A, transaction services or a related field
Strong academic results
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative approach, strong work ethic and genuine interest in corporate advisory
Previous ECM or broader capital markets experience will be highly regarded
