The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our fast growing Corporate practice group. The role will involve assisting our clients with company incorporations and ancillary tasks relating to business structuring, and assisting lawyers prepare various base documentation relating to corporate governance and employee share schemes. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise effectively, work under pressure, manage a range of legal matters concurrently, and confidently communicate directly with clients. 

This position is an ideal launchpad for a law student graduating within the next 12 months to start their career in corporate law. There is a clear pathway to transition into a Graduate role after at least 12 months as a Paralegal, depending on the needs of the business at that time.

The Ideal Candidate

• Available at least 4 days a week.
• Interested in corporate and commercial law.  
• Passionate about helping clients: You are dedicated to exceeding client expectations.
• Personable, empathetic and understanding: A friendly and professional demeanour, as this role will have client-facing elements.
• Tech savvy: You will be using our innovative in-house technology to assist clients. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills will complement this well.
• Cool and calm under pressure: The ability to effectively manage competing priorities and solve multiple problems quickly.
• A law student with impressive grades is ideal. Work experience in customer-centric industries will also be valued.
