Credit Analyst

The Company

Our client is a large ASX listed organisation based in the South-Eastern Suburbs. You will be working within a friendly and collaborative Credit Risk team. This is a newly created role for a driven and upbeat person with a passion for credit.

Working within the Credit Risk team, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial data, credit reports, and payment history
• Analyse financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to determine risk exposure
• Make recommendations on credit limits, terms, and approvals in line with company policy
• Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and emerging risk indicators
• Review and adjust credit limits based on ongoing risk assessment
• Partner with sales and finance teams to balance growth with risk management
• Assess and review requirements for legal and credit agency assistance
• Prepare credit submissions and risk reports for internal stakeholders
• Support collections team on high-risk or escalated accounts
