About the role

We require a talented individual to fulfil a Credit Analyst/Loan Writer role which will primarily be in the home loan sector but with increasing exposure to commercial applications.  This role can be adapted to a full or part time candidate with some flexibility in days and hours.

Who are we looking for?

The successful applicant will work with the Principal Broker to assess and prepare loan applications to ensure they meet the clients’ needs.  This includes ascertaining borrowing capacity, reviewing suitable lending options and preparing applications to the lender.

An innate desire to assist clients by using a can-do attitude is essential, accompanied with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Experience in the Finance and Banking industry will be highly regarded.  A results oriented individual who may consider this role as a stepping stone into Mortgage Broking.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Gather & review relevant client information
• Analyse and interpret financial data to assess lending capacity
• Review lender policies to assist in determining the most appropriate client solution
• Complete product comparisons, bank servicing assessments and assist with the structuring and packaging of loan applications to the lender
• Deliver excellent customer service in a timely manner
• Manage risks within lending regulatory guidelines
