The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join our Laverton Branch on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead the branch credit and collection’s function, supporting both PACCAR and PacLease operations. You will play a key part in protecting the company’s assets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring credit decisions align with company policy and business objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys balancing commercial outcomes with sound credit judgement, while working closely with sales, operations, finance, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and manage the branch credit and collections team


• Assess and recommend credit decisions within delegated authority


• Monitor customer accounts, arrears, and payment performance


• Ensure ledger accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts


• Work closely with sales, controllers, and collections teams to support business objectives


• Oversee recovery activity and liaise with legal representatives where required


• Supervise, coach, and develop team members


• Prepare timely reporting and maintain strong credit controls


• Support PacLease operations and related collections activity

About You 

You are an experienced credit professional with strong leadership capability and sound commercial judgement. You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to make decisions and manage competing priorities.  You will also have:

• Degree qualification in accounting, business, or a related field


• Strong experience across credit management and collections


• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team


• High attention to detail and strong follow-through


• Confident stakeholder management and relationship-building skills


• A professional, ethical, and customer-focused approach
