Job Description - Credit Officer

APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members. 



The Credit Officer is responsible for the internal debt processes for most APRA and AMCOS client accounts. Responsibilities include conducting debt collection via phone and email, overseeing reminder communications.


The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land.   


 


As a Credit Officer, your responsibilities will include:  



  • Conducting telephone and email debt collection (minimum 50 contacts daily)

  • Managing inbound client calls, shared inbox, and maintaining accurate client records

  • Performing client account reconciliations and overseeing payment plans or extended credit

  • Providing general administrative and operational support to the Credit Team



To thrive in this role, you'll need:  




  • Experience in debtor skills

  • Experience working in a high-volume environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset
